A double late night session where noise, performance and electronics will come together. Frederik Croene strings a whirlwind of various samples together in his No Context Pieces. Next, the American performer and voice artist Ka Baird will bring an equally eclectic combination of voice, flute, electronics and intense performance to the stage.

Frederik Croene (1973) developed a handful trajectories in which he reflects on the ever changing and multi-layered identities of the classical pianist. He played and recorded some classical repertoire and worked intensively with contemporary composers. Other trajectories focus more on transdisciplinary art, improvisation and intuitive performance/studio recording.

Ka Baird
Ka Baird is a performer, composer, and sound designer based in New York City. They are known for their live solo performances which include extended voice and microphone techniques combined with electronics and various instrumentation, in particular flutes and woodwinds. They create a present tense sound with a vigorous delivery that seeks extreme release through physical exertion and psychic extension. Dancing in the undefined margins of experimental sound, performance art, ritual and sport.
