As usual MATRIX and Transit have joined forces to create a new work for non-professional musicians. This time we bring a bunch of young (er) recorder players together, students from Jette (class of Katelijne Lanneau) and ... Vienna (Class of Thomas List). Composer Frederick Neyrinck (who coincidentally also lives in Vienna) has written a thrilling new piece for them. Get ready for every size of recorder in the family and a wealth of sound colours you never suspected existed. Also, it is rumored that Brueghel has something to do with it!

Frederik Neyrinck

Frederik Neyrinck worked with various orchestras and ensembles such as Asko|Schönberg, Nadar Ensemble, Klangforum Wien and Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen. From 2020 to 2024, he will be Artist in Residence at I SOLISTI. He is also very active in the field of (children's) musical theatre and opera. This manifests itself, among other things, in a residency at LOD muziektheater.
