Koi Collective

Koi Collective (Emmy Wils - piano & Maarten Vergauwen - saxophone) was founded in 2020. Specialising in the performance of contemporary repertoire the collective has its main focus on Belgian compositions. In addition to this, the Koi Collective chooses a variety of compositions written by foreign composers. Inspired by the fish of the same name, the Koi Collective aims to profile itself in the broad contemporary scene as an ensemble that swims against the current and makes the challenges of the various styles its own.
