An Icelandic ensemble playing baroque instruments, plenty of electronics and a lot of video: this promises to be not your average weeknight concert, but a performance that explores all the possibilities available today. There is subtle and acoustic with Liisa Hirsch, the musical fantasy of a never-realised film script by Heleen Van Haegenborgh, Nicole Lizée’s inventive dialogue with media and technology, and the multimedia by composer Maria Huld Markan and video-artist Dodda Maggý. A concert for the eyes as well as the ears.
