Lore Binon, Inge Spinette
Salon Satie meanders through Paris on a Sunday afternoon: a dash of salon music, a soupçon of ‘see and be seen’ along the chic boulevards and a bit of elite carrying on in the Bois de Boulogne.
Pianist Inge Spinette and soprano Lore Binon present a varied programme of piano music and songs by Satie and his contemporaries.
Despite the often light-hearted tone, lurking just around every corner, or behind the next tree are mockery, self-deprecation and cultural criticism. Listening carefully inevitably means looking in a mirror.
Soprano Lore Binon is eager to assert herself as a defender of the fragile song genre. Her sensitive and rich musical personality makes her a much sought-after soloist at home and abroad for both the symphonic repertoire and early music. In addition, Binon is active in the worlds of chamber music, music theater and contemporary music.
Pianist Inge Spinette has been praised for her subtle, sensitive and intelligent playing in which her colorful pallet pures out the right emotions. She leads a double career as collaborative pianist of renomated singers and as opera coach in La Monnaie-De Munt. She is also Lied teacher at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. She has already accompanied numerous recitals with renowned singers.
