MATRIX-project
Especially for Transit, MATRIX presents a musical diptych with two very different perspectives. Students of the Jette and Brussels academies will plunge into Karel Stulens’ Allemande for baroque instruments and tape loops. But the real eyecatcher is the work that composer Geoffa Fells makes with kids from the Children’s centre Fabota in Leuven, even if it’s only because it takes place in and around ... a ball pit.

Karel Stulens
Karel Stulens is a composer of new arts and music. His compositions range from orchestral and chamber works, mainly with performative and multi-media components, to interactive video’s. Research and questions on stereotypes, traditionalism and institutional mechanisms are his foundations of creating new work.
Geoffa Fells
Geoffa Fells is a composer, visual artist and PhD researcher. She uses a blend of traditional scoring, electronic music and multi-sensory art to compose new music that is inclusive of under-heard voices through collaborations with her neurodiversity ensemble 'Nth Tangent', fellow trauma survivors and children with severe and complex needs and learning differences.
