Explore Ensemble
Few performers better embody the many and diverse influences that have enriched contemporary music in the early 21st century than South Korean cellist, improvisor and composer Okkyung Lee. Her work unites East and West, composed and improvised, acoustic and electronic, delicate and noisy.
Transit opens with the premiere of a large-scale new work composed with and for the Explore Ensemble, with Lee herself as the soloist.
